
St. John the Evangelist (Apostle)
Biography
St. John the Evangelist was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and traditionally believed to be the author of the Gospel of John, three epistles, and the Book of Revelation. He was known as the "beloved disciple." He was the only apostle not to die a martyr's death, living to an old age in Ephesus.
